This all depends on your experience, body size and how comfortable you are with canopy control. Listen to the recommendations of your chief instructor, canopy coach and other experienced respectable jumpers. In many countries your federation may have a set table for you to follow. It may seem conservative but they have done the research and work to ensure your safe canopy progression.
