Not always – this can be done by any qualified experienced rigger. There are instructions with the lineset specifically for your rigger. Chances are the rigger you use will have re-lined many NZA canopies before.
If however you’d prefer it done at the factory, you can send your baby in for a reline and full inspection. The only downside is shipping costs and sending your canopy to NZ can mean the turn around time is a little longer than a local rigger.
